Developer Relations Manager (Remote)


We’re looking for a Developer Relations Manager aka ‘DevRel Evangelist‘. Our ideal candidate is someone who knows a few programming languages (including JavaScript & Python), is a great communicator, is excited to share Cerbos with fellow developers, and wants to travel and participate in industry events.

About the role

As our first official full-time DevRel person, you will be the conduit between Cerbos and the developer community. You will be engaging with developers to discover pain points, suggest solutions, produce accessible technical content and help build an inclusive community of Cerbos users.

You will also take charge of creating and implementing a developer relations communication strategy which includes product positioning and community growth.

Required skills

  • Prior background in software engineering, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or developer relations.
  • Experience in spearheading evangelism and content creation efforts.
  • Technical insight to empathize, understand, and solve problems. Great communication skills to share those solutions, ideas, and best practices.
  • Passion for contributing to open source communities: presenting at conferences, sparking debate, igniting conversations, and reveling in the opportunities to engage developers at meet-ups, over discussion forums, chat, and social media.
  • Growth marketing mindset to find ways of increasing the adoption of Cerbos.

Product Marketing Manager (Remote)


Our customers love our product. Your task is to make a wider audience aware of Cerbos and increase the momentum of adoption.

About the role

Cerbos is taking part in the great decoupling of the authorization layer. We are in the process of defining a new category, shaping product innovation and building a global, fully distributed company with an emphasis on openness and diversity. It’s a story to shout about, a small but mighty team with a single vision: to ensure that developers never have to build user permissions infrastructure again.

This role is pivotal in increasing awareness and adoption of Cerbos. As an experienced Product Marketing Manager, you will lead the way in researching, testing and deploying the right communication and marketing strategy that will help Developers better understand how to use and benefit from Cerbos.

About you

You’re going to be hands-on in a growing company – so a complete understanding of the end-to-end product marketing process is absolutely vital.

You must have a proven track record of understanding, engaging and marketing within the developer space, shaping the product marketing strategy from insight through to execution. A technology background isn’t essential, but it would be a big advantage if you have developer experience. Ideally, you will also have experience of engaging and building user communities, exploring new ways to promote product features and build brand awareness.
